Greek Text: ὁ δὲ ὑπηρέτης δίδωσιν αὐτῷ βακτηρίαν ὁμόχρων τῷ δικαστηρίῳ, οὗ τὸ αὐτὸ γράμμα ἐστὶν ὅπερ ἐν τῇ βαλάνῳ, ἵνα ἀναγκαῖον ᾖ αὐτῷ εἰσελθεῖν εἰς ὃ εἴληχε̣ δικαστήριον
English Text: the attendant gives him a staff of the same color as the court bearing the same letter as the one on the acorn, in order that it may be necessary for him to go into the court to which he has been assigned by lot
